Pashmina Shawls

Born in silence. Woven with patience. Carried with meaning.

High in the Himalayas, where winters are long and time moves slowly, Pashmina shawls are not rushed into existence. They are shaped by climate, tradition, and the quiet dedication of hands that have practiced this craft for generations. Each Rawuf Pashmina shawl carries warmth — not only of
fibre, but of heritage.

How Our Kilim Bags Are Made

1.

From the High Himalayas
Pashmina fibre comes from the cold, elevated regions of Kashmir and Ladakh, where nature produces wool of extraordinary fineness and softness.

2.

Hand Spun, Thread by Thread
The fibre is gently hand-spun, preserving its natural warmth, lightness, and softness.

3.

Woven by Memory and Skill
On traditional looms, artisans weave each shawl patiently, guided by techniques passed down through generations.

4.

Colours Inspired by Nature
Soft earth tones and timeless hues reflect mountains, valleys, and skies — chosen to age beautifully over time.

Made in Kashmir & Ladakh

In Kashmir and Ladakh, weaving is not simply work — it is a way of life. The rhythm of the loom mirrors the rhythm of the land. Every shawl is shaped by place, season, and hand.

Curated by Rawuf

Each Pashmina shawl is curated by Rawuf with intention — respecting tradition while selecting forms that belong naturally in the modern world. A shawl meant to be worn often, held close, and kept for years.

CARE GUIDE

Care & Maintenance

Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the natural softness and delicate fibers of your Pashmina shawl. If hand washing is necessary, use cold water with a mild, gentle soap. Avoid soaking for long periods.

Do not wring, twist, or scrub the fabric, as this may damage the fine weave. Gently press out excess water and lay flat on a clean towel to dry. Always dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources to maintain the shawl’s color and texture.

Store folded in a breathable cotton or muslin fabric when not in use. Avoid hanging for long periods to prevent stretching, and keep away from moisture or sharp accessories to ensure lasting beauty.
